OXHRM’s Growth plan lists advanced payroll processing. Automated Payroll is a paid add-on. This page repeats only what those cards already say.

A team that has outgrown a spreadsheet and is looking at Growth (₹1,999 per month, up to 40 users) because that plan lists advanced payroll processing. A team that already clocks in on Startup and wants to know what the Automated Payroll add-on actually lists before they pay ₹15 per seat per month. A team that will keep salary in another product and only needs OXHRM for attendance, leave and Core HR.
Industry pages that mention payroll in passing include factories (attendance, shifts, overtime and payroll, including biometric integration), restaurants (attendance, shift planning, payroll and compliance), retail (attendance, shifts and payroll for multi-outlet businesses), and security agencies (deployment and payroll). Those pages do not add filing features this page does not already refuse to claim.
Plans that do and do not include payroll
Startup (₹0, up to 20 users) does not include payroll. It includes geo-fenced attendance, basic leave, the mobile app, employee self-service and email support. Growth adds advanced payroll processing plus shifts, analytics, performance, 24/7 support and custom integrations. Extra users are ₹49. GST on the pricing calculator is 18%.
How it works
The pricing page describes Automated Payroll as direct salary disbursement with UPI, bank transfer, and instant payslips. The listed add-on features are automated salary calculations, direct UPI and bank transfers, instant digital payslips, tax deduction at source (TDS), statutory compliance for PF, ESI and PT, loan and advance management, bonus and incentive processing, and year-end Form 16 generation. The listed price is ₹15 per seat per month (regular ₹25).
Payslips in the employee self-service portal are described on Core HR: staff can view and download payslips and tax documents once salary figures exist. Attendance that feeds those figures can use GPS, selfie, QR or IP, or the Biometric Attendance add-on if you want face check-in. Leave balances are described on leave management.
What this page does not claim
It does not claim PF ECR export, ESI or PF challan filing, or a statutory gratuity engine. For a contribution estimate use the PF calculator. For Payment of Gratuity Act maths use the gratuity calculator. Both sit under /tools. This page does not quote another vendor and does not repeat add-on “benefit” percentages from the pricing modal.
Setup steps you can take from this site
- Create an organisation at panel.oxhrm.com/signup. Stay on Startup if you only need attendance and basic leave for up to 20 people.
- Add people in Core HR so later payslips attach to a named employee, not a shared login.
- Turn on a clock-in method. Export Excel or PDF if salary will stay outside OXHRM.
- Enter opening leave balances after punches look right. The FAQ says to load salary structures only when you use Growth payroll or the Automated Payroll add-on.
- If you need published shift rosters as well as payroll, you are already looking at Growth items. Confirm the live extra-user rate (₹49) and GST (18%) on pricing.

Confirm live add-on prices on the pricing page before you treat ₹15 as final. The regular listed price on that card is ₹25.
How payroll sits next to other listed modules
Time Tracking & Monitoring (₹12 per seat) is a desktop activity add-on with a consent note. It is not GPS clock-in and it is not payroll. Project & Task Management (₹14 per seat) is a boards add-on. Team Collaboration Suite (₹10 per seat) is chat. None of those cards list salary calculation. Do not buy them expecting Form 16.
AI HR Assistant (₹18 per seat) lists leave-request handling and policy search, not salary disbursement. Biometric Attendance (₹12 per seat) lists face check-in and offline sync, which can feed an attendance export but is not a payroll engine. Startup geo-fencing remains the free clock-in method.
Razorpay processes payments for OXHRM subscriptions. The site says OXHRM does not store card or bank credentials. That is about buying OXHRM, not about how employee UPI payouts on the add-on card are settled inside your bank. The add-on lists UPI and bank transfers as features; this page does not add a settlement timeline or a success rate.
